Empowering Student Leaders to Improve Efficiency in ISS Offices

Presentation Description: International Student and Scholar Services Offices often work with limited resources and staff even when international student/scholar populations are soaring. While additional permanent, full-time positions are not always possible to obtain, this session will explain how the ISSS Office at Lewis University has capitalized on developing its Graduate Assistant and Student Worker staff to help manage the many student requests and tasks while also helping them develop skills related to their interests that will also help them succeed in their future careers.
