Sonya began her international journey studying abroad in Madrid, followed by a year teaching English in Guilin, China. Upon returning to the U.S., she worked as a credential evaluator, then as Associate Director of International Admissions at a small liberal arts college in New York, traveling the world for recruitment, co-managing a two-person admissions office, and working closely with the international student services and study abroad teams. Now a Customer Success Manager at Terra Dotta, she supports partner institutions in the northern Midwest across the study abroad, international student services, and travel risk spaces.
