Monica Ernberger is the Assistant Director of the University of Iowa Study Abroad Office, overseeing international internships. She also does program coordination, outreach, and study abroad advising for the Tippie College of Business, the College of Public Health, and the Global Health Program. Living and studying abroad as a student led to her 20+ year career in Higher Education. Recently completing a 2-year term in the inaugural cohort for the Gilman Advisor Ambassadors' Program, she enjoys helping others increase their college and universities' outreach efforts through the promotion of using high-impact scholarships to fund international internships and experiential learning opportunities.
