Chainey is an International Student Advisor at the Office of International Student & Scholar Services at Northwestern University. In this role, Chainey advises over 1,000 international students who hold F and J visas. Before transitioning into the advisor role, Chainey served as the international student experience coordinator in this office with a focus on supporting international student engagement and community building.
Previously, Chainey was an international student pursuing her master’s degree in urban higher education and was inspired to commit her professional practice in international education to continue her commitment and advocacy to support international students.
