Chief, Casework Division
DHS Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman
Adrienne Chulapakorn serves as the chief of the Casework Division with the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman, a position she has held since 2021. The Casework Division is responsible for reviewing and taking action on the requests for case assistance we receive.
Adrienne holds over 20 years of experience in the immigration field in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining the CIS Ombudsman’s Office, she worked with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ (USCIS’) Office of Policy and Strategy as a special assistant for the chief of policy where she coordinated the agency’s policy and regulatory proposals in response to President Biden’s executive order to reduce barriers on the legal immigration system, and as a policy analyst where she served as a subject matter expert for the H-2A, H-2B, and I-140 portfolios. From 2010 through 2014, Adrienne was an adjudicator and policy analyst with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Foreign Labor Certification PERM and prevailing wage programs.
