Presentation Description:

The U.S. has a documented shortage of Physicians and International Medical Graduates (“IMG”) play a critical role in ensuring Access to Healthcare across the U.S. This panel will discuss the IMG’s journey from ACGME-accredited training, through the J-1 waiver process, employment options, and beyond.

 - Current J-1 waiver options and trending issues

 - H-1B considerations including Alternative Licensing Models and telemedicine

 - Best green card pathways and timing considerations

 - Institutional Considerations

 - Potential for legislative and regulatory developments that impact IMGs and their employers
