Building Community for New Members to International Education

Are you new to international education? This session is for you! We invite new employees and those who supervise them to connect through this open dialogue led by people who are also new. During our time together, we will reflect on our unique experiences entering this field, talk about our goals for the future, and make valuable connections with peers.
Learning Objectives:
Connect with others who are new to the field of international education and discuss the experience of being new.
Brainstorm ways to create a welcoming environment for employees who are new to their office and/or to the field of international education.
Identify goals for the future and create action steps to build community within the field.
