Presentation Description: Bring a laptop, bring a friend, and get ready to learn about the professional development available to faculty andstaff through the Intercultural Learning Hub's Professional Development Zone. The PDZ provides on-line, asynchronous, self-learning modules appropriate for personal development in the office, in the home, or on the beach, as well as at staff meetings, staff retreats, or lunch 'n' learns--anywhere that interculturally-minded professionals might gather. Come get a taste for what the PDZ currently holds and suggest what should be added next.
Learning Objectives:
After the presentation, attendees will be able to navigate through self-learning modules on intercultural learning, global learning, and DEIB for their own edification.
After the presentation, attendees will be able to demonstrate to others at their home institutions how to facilitate PDZ modules in a group setting.
After the presentation, attendees will be able to navigate throughout the Intercultural Learning Hub to find additional resources on topics of interest.
