Session
International Education Leadership (IEL)
Surviving and thriving as an entrepreneurial, self-funded unit within a non-profit university system can be frustrating at best and crippling at worst. The presenters will describe their experiences working in such an environment, and strategies they have employed to navigate this terrain. Specific strategies include making connections and building relationships with university units, advocacy and persistence, and thinking outside the box. The presenters will leave time for discussion where others can share their own experiences.
