Heilwig Jones is the Founder and Director of Kaya Responsible Travel and has been involved with service, experiential education and cultural immersion programs abroad since the Asian Tsunami relief effort in 2004. Passionate about conservation and international development, she presents in international education forums across North America and Europe on the virtues of service-learning, global internships and cultural exchange as a route to mutual learning, resume development, skills and capacity building and developing educated, compassionate global citizens. Kaya continues to lead the field in its ethical approaches to working in development and responsible approaches travel.
