Cara Miller is a Study Abroad Advisor for term-long programs in Europe. She has been traveling the world since 2003; encouraging others to study, work and volunteer abroad. At DePaul University, Cara received a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and a Master’s from School for International Training (SIT Graduate Institute) in Intercultural Service, Leadership and Management. Cara taught middle school and high school in Chicago Public Schools, has led high school and university-level student groups to France, Spain and Italy; and has worked at the Australian Embassy in Washington D.C as well as the Australian Consulate in Chicago as a Public Diplomacy Officer. In 2011, Cara left the political sector to return to her alma mater. As a Study Abroad Advisor, she enjoys helping students develop into competent global citizens!
